Psychological assessments assist in identifying diagnoses, understanding behavior, treatment planning, and understanding unique strenghths and challenges of individuals, In addition, they can help answer legal questions such as identifying risks and/or safety concerns. Assessments are completed by psychologist Dr. Donadio who offers the following assessments;
Immigration hardship evaluations are detailed mental health assessments used to document the emotional, psychological, and sometimes physical impact that deportation or denial of legal status would have on an immigrant's relative(s) (spouse, parent, or child) who is U.S. citizen or legal resident. Lawyers use these evaluations as supporting evidence in immigration cases, especially hardship waivers (like I-601, I-601A, or cancellation of removal), to strengthen the argument that the qualifying relative would suffer extreme or exceptional hardship if the immigrant is removed or denied entry. The evaluation provides objective, professional insight into the severity of the hardship, which can significantly influence an immigration judge or officer’s decision.
Additional assessments may be available pending consultation.
